Who Are We?

We are Colorado's 24/7 and free resource for any mental health and substance abuse issue.  We operate the Colorado Crisis and Support Line, Colorado's statewide crisis hotline and warmline at 1-844-493-TALK(8255) and a free Program Services Directory.  We are experienced and knowledgeable; offering support, consultation and assistance to anyone in the community who may need it - individuals, families, friends, treatment providers, law enforcement and first responders. We are Coloradans, your neighbors, and your support system.

Who Answers the Phones?
Colorado Crisis Line:   Every call to the Colorado Crisis Line is answered by a mental health professional. Every caller gets immediate, expert, crisis care.Every one of our Crisis Line staff has a master’s degree or a doctoral degree. Counselors are trained in various mental health and substance issues, have knowledge on and direct relationships with local resources, engage in immediate problem solving, and make follow up calls to ensure continued care.

Colorado Support Line:   Every call to the Colorado Support Line is answered by a Peer, who has lived-experience in mental health and substance use issues and/or who are living in recovery. Peer Specialists aim to provide elements of hope, support, wellness, and recovery to callers on the Support Line by modeling successful recovery, facilitating problem solving, and serving as a supportive resource for those seeking support.
